Equelle's key ingredient, S-equol, works by safely and naturally mimicking estrogen.

During menopause, estrogen levels decrease causing symptoms like hot flashes, sleep difficulties and vaginal irritation. Equelle's active ingredient, S-equol, has a similar structure as estrogen and can mimic some of its actions, helping to ease menopause symptoms.
S-equol is the active ingredient in Equelle. It is a naturally derived compound produced through the fermentation of soy germ and is naturally produced by women in the gut in small amounts. The S-equol used in Equelle is developed using a patented fermentation process that simulates the specific gut conditions needed for certain bacteria to produce S-equol.
Equelle's active ingredient, S-equol, comes from Japan. It is tableted and manufactured in the United States.
Taking Equelle does not impact estrogen levels. Although Equelle’s active ingredient, S-equol, mimics some of the same activities of estrogen by preferentially binding to estrogen receptor beta, Equelle is a dietary supplement free from human & animal hormones and clinical research shows S-equol supplementation reduces the frequency of hot flashes, supports the quality of sleep, reduces bothersome vaginal symptoms like irritation, soreness and itching, and alleviates mood swings.

Equelle and its active ingredient, S-equol, have undergone decades of clinical research and development. It has been shown to be safe and is not associated with changes in sex or thyroid hormones, negative effects on endometrial health or breast cancer. Equelle is safe to take with other foods, supplements, and over-the-counter or prescription medications and will not negatively interact with them. However, Equelle should not be taken if you have a soy allergy or sensitivity.
